That’s the year Microsoft announced its plans to support the platform with a lightweight version of Windows 10 IoT, specifically designed for the 64-bit RPi 3 models. According to Windows Latest, this open-source Installer was introduced in January, building upon the earlier WoA release for the Lumia 950 phones.

In conclusion, the WoA Installer pioneers the possibility of running Windows 10 Arm 64 on the Raspberry Pi 3. However, please note that this installation comes without any performance guarantees and awaits further testing to prove its reliability and efficiency.
Install Windows 10 on Raspberry Pi 3 (ARM)
You can use this third-party installer if you already have a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B (or B+) and a MicroSD card with A1 rating. To install Windows 10 ARM on Raspberry Pi 3, please follow the steps below:
- Download the Windows 10 ARM image, WoA installer and Core Packages from here.
- Run WoA Installer and go to the Advanced section.
- Click on ‘Import Core Package’ option and select the package directly.
- After importing, you will be allowed to use deploy Windows option.
